Pay for the seat. Keep the commission.
DealDesk is a subscription. We never take a percentage of an artist's fee, so we never compete with the people doing the deal.

Questions
Why no commission?
A percentage of the fee would put DealDesk in competition with the agents and managers who use it, and would make the platform look like it is procuring engagements. A flat subscription keeps us neutral.
Can major agencies keep their rosters private?
Yes. Avails can be private, and Requirements can be set to invited reps only. Majors can receive pitches-in without exposing their roster.
Who can see my budget?
Verified reps see the budget band you choose to show. Exact figures are never published, and only aggregated bands feed the Lyve Index, with consent.
What happens if two people claim the same artist?
Pitching for that artist and territory pauses until the artist confirms or Lyve's trust team resolves it from the evidence.
Which markets are live first?
Miami and London, then New York, Los Angeles, Amsterdam and Stockholm.
